Home and part of all the lush of green, pine groves and canopy The earth, my ancient blood and all the wilder parts inside of me A natural intrinsic bond; my chapel, living room and bed Most comforting embrace, and worship place inside my head And to the sea, I bow before the mimic of my fragile soul The depths and tides, where life abides a circle full and whole The very who I am inside and where all tears are cried Mirror of the sky above, in surge of bottled nerve, now lullabied Home, the haven where my work and play can come to rest The moon, the lantern in the nighttime cradle gently blessed And you, another center of these thoughts that gratify Most cordially to slip beneath the shields to fields beside me lie Copyright Kkh 6/11/02 |

Home, the haven where my work and play can come to rest The moon, the lantern in the nighttime cradle gently blessed This is extremely beautiful, Kathleen. I love the idea of the home as the haven where work and play can come to rest... ~ poetic hugs Lyra |

Kathy, you write so beautifully of material things around you...You have a very heightened awareness of your world and all of it's beauty...Your words say that to me.. |
