*repost for my hubby...think he needed this today!!!* Not a moment too soon... I was… Sharp angles, bruised edges- Jagged teardrops upon your face… Shattered by a woman’s love, Shy of obligatory space… I was… Intermediate obsession- Transitional disgrace, Sentimental failure- Yet curious of your taste… I was… Functionally challenged- Less obedient of need, Belligerent aggressor- Yet demanding of your lead… I was… Condolence of a heartache- Missionary of decree, Assignment to a loneliness- Yet you still made me bleed… ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I am… A woman of proud confidence- Whose stars shine brighter now, One of pure indifference- To “What could have been-right now..." I am… A statutory candidate- For silver butterflies at noon, I now believe that love has come- And not a moment too soon… Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

love has a reputation for its sense of impeccable timing, though always in extremes. just in time, or just at the wrong time... hehe. i'm glad you two are beneficiaries of love's timing today. this is a wonderful write. love its rhythm... and its SAT-cracking vocab. it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown |
