Cradle Call There's something in reality that leaves us weak at heart And, there's something in the not knowing at all I found the closeness to uncertain in shades unlike before When God lead me to my cradle call... Exposed as the morning as when the sun opens it's eyes All awareness to pain hit me as hard as stones I was trapped there from a moment gone bad in life Found everlastingness is ever leasing and nothing we own... Sacred doesn't stand a chance when screams haunt the hour Did he even hear me call his name in the night My cradle call to something that was never even mine to keep Found me on destiny's path to a life long fight... Repetition to hear me I still released his name Couldn't understand why the heavens took a part of me And, in the middle of a sigh from torments hands I was the closest to agony I'll ever be... There's something in red that holds a hint of grief Takes the constant faith from a simple belief And, I'll never know the rains as hard as I have When I called out and he didn't answer back... I'm just lost in what I can't change these days To a cradle call and fatal crawl I wish away So, now, I move to a rhythm I can't hear yet But, stand clear to my cradle call I wish to forget...
