This white package,
with much written
within. Folded,
feelings now
sit on my oak desk.

Scales - to send or not
- tip and sway. Its contents,
I sift emotionally.
With expressions wiped
from my fickle face.

Four of my fingers
trample repeatedly.
On it they patter drumbeats.
A mixture and potion
of candor, potted beneath.

Mist of concepts
vent over waves,
Amidst which I swim.
So as not to drown
I destroy, the envelope.

Oh how many times I have done exactly the same thing!!!! This is exceptional, and captures the indecision of whether to send or not to send.......great writing!

Hmmmm..decisions..decisions.. A lot of feeling inside something so insignificant..and yet..sooo very meaningful. Fabulous write.

Joining the other ladies on this one. I know all to well how many I have never sent...and am glad I didn't. Well done.
