What delight this morn does bring
I step outside and voices sing
Birds atop the branches high
I search for them, then let out a sigh
I see a rainbow, so perfectly formed
colours radient, my heart is warmed
I cherish this morn and all it's worth
Thanking god for putting me on this earth

Inspired by a delightful winters morning and the rainbow in the sky as I walked to work this morning

Tracy darling heart in this delight you have excelled your usual high standard normally your writing shines, in this one poem you have written incandescence. I cannot praise you too highly. This is exquisite writing I love it utterly utterly. Truly beautiful

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Hey Tracie,
it's good to see you back. I think all of us Victorians (Five I think) need to post more to show those Americans what the world is really like. After all they post summer poems in mid winter and we are always ahead of the game.
