Anythings Blindly, I pass darkened visions onto a stiffened moon regardless of it’s wanting. The cigarette burns like toast; Smoking inside. With added Tar and nicotine it’d taste alright. Dark green flannel sheets smooth over my weary form. The stains of sex are ignored subconscious needs defined. Mascara rubbed eyes crave to close for the day, to see a new world in the slumbered hours without the need to be open. And as they close the inside mind creates mythical journeys. It can give me anything it wants so long as I give my anythings back at the sight of morning light or the warning of the alarm Sometimes as I capture a few snoozes it lets me relapse finishing the anythings finalizing them until once again a stiffened moon beckons my blackened eyes to close |
