Awakening A pewter pitcher is hovering over the mountain pouring out frore that melts in the crease of the sun’s awakening Mention the last star in wink-out as it unshutters a window to see how time moves and you will briefly see a hand waiting waiting to catch the fall of night Stretching grass dew rich and now marked with footprints escapes the stretch of light briefly and is barefooted in romp with shadow waiting for warm sponge of air release wanting the crackle of hot finger rub against each delicate rib I hear the wink in the crow’s laughter and the answer from ancient words opening where someone waits to feel the heft still frozen to melt it in the crease of awakening [This message has been edited by Martie (07-02-2002 09:03 PM).] |

I like this image Martie. . . as if awakening into a dream, rather than from one. . . wonderful!! ![]() ----------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

It's just pointless to ask you to quit writing so well, isn't it? Ah well, my luck! ![]() |

Only you could paint a rain cloud into a pewter pitcher with your words. that second verse is poetic gold!! waiting to catch the fall of night how lovely is that!! ![]() We wish ourselves beautiful ... and cry in the night. |

"Stretching grass dew rich and now marked with footprints escapes the stretch of light briefly and is barefooted in romp with shadow waiting for warm sponge of air release wanting the crackle of hot finger rub against each delicate rib" Oh you are something! |

Poetess~ Who art thou ? From whence doth thou cometh ? Thee walketh through fields of word-flowers plucking them at will ... arranging them in bouquets that are fragrant with the nectar from gardens of another world~ Poetess ... who art thou ? ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
