the first new pages of our Love having now been written,
we look, hand in hand over them
and begin to fill the lines with
words we never thought we would ever speak

we introduce again the main characters
the man who has known much love in his life
only to have that love cause him pain at times
still, his belief in it is so strong that he finds it again
he finds it again to share it
and the woman who thought that love only came once
for her in life
she now sees that love has come again to find its place
in her heart
and, in her heart, bruised and battered though it is
the healing has begun
and she finds herself ready to love again

the first chapter now complete, we turn the page
ready to seek and to find what love has for us
we know that we will be able to do anything now
for love has given us strength
the strength to leave behind the old
and to embrace the new
the new that is our love
our love that is our life
our life that is this page

Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion.

It is a simple and old story, but I am reading these to find out if these two can tell it with more honesty than most choose to do.
