There are many paths before we get to us.
Will our arrivals cause our hearts to fall unguarded
into another chance?
How long will our eyes linger on each
and will the tremble of our hands register
on some earthquivering scale?
This is just another part of the story
that we will write with passion
and the soft acceptance of our souls
will echo the unwritten songs.
Two hearts using one pen
love
to conquer the next impossible part
of what could be our own fairytale
fairly told.

Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion.
