I did not ask your eyes to tell me. I did not ask your mind to show me. But I wanted to know. I needed the show. Seeping light across the street, moon among the skyborne heat. Seeds of clouds surrounding light. Swallowed sky compounding night. I place a compass on the floor. Watch the silent stone traverse. Catching silver lace in trees. Moonlit beauty of dead leaves. Yr my strength when I fall saddest. You make me happy in lost places. Let me be your strength for you. Let me hold you, make you new. The need to please undo the fractures. Color brightens, then collapses. Shadows play the dead, dry leaves. The rain won't fall to bring release. The sky is white in low lightning. Leaving fields of red behind me. The thunder won't come, laying silent. The thunder won't come. The sky is violent. A wall of maps, paths in the sky. Unseen traps. The scars multiply. The moon is quiet. The sky is burning. My mind is riot. My hold is yearning. Please break me up. In steps of light. Let me sigh yr sky. And don't cry tonight. These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. -RHCP [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (06-28-2002 12:45 AM).] |

Glad y' could both understand and enjoy. And ice storm of beauty is a poem in itself, Sen. Much love to y'. These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |

Can't say I approve of these moods.... But they sure do bring out the best of yr poetry. Oh... I'm home sick from work. So I can take advice, believe it or not. (big hugggsssssss) Oh Micvhael, I can feel angst behind your words, sweet friend, I hope this is not current and now you have found tranquility through this all! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Eh, it comes and goes. Angst is my erstwhile lover. These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |
