dark smear of lips awaiting cigarettes -- i can picture her mouth by her voice. she holds to an hour, playing her music. i give her ideas that end up nowhere. I wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. For sound. For wish. I wait some more. Whenever song ends, she taunts me again. "This is Kat Corbett. Call with your requests." These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |

(sigh) Awwwwwwww, I'm sorry that the disc jockey didn't play your request, sweet friend, now you call in there and DEMAND a request I say! (smiles) This is a creative lament, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Baby, you're so cute. This is why I don't do th' radio! So I always have say over what I hear. The latest is Michelle Branch. Grr, me an' my grrl-n-guitar fetish. "Sooner or later, they'll never grow up." -Jim Steinman (unreleased and almost completely unheard, but hey) |
