I have a simple-or complex if you will-challenge, if you dare accept the task. Write a poem,it doesn't matter what kind/form, about your best friend. ^_^ ~Jill Out /\/The Editing Queen\/\ |

wrote a while ago . workin on another I wish that I could thank you For all that you have ever done Wish I could give what’s due Brought me back, when I tried to run Comforted me, all the times I cried Wet and broken tears There for me, when I hurt bad inside Got rid of all my fears To me you have been Way better than ever have I deserved Truthfully, a true friend Got me to talk, no matter how reserved That I have tried to be When I tried to pull away Opened my eyes to see Past, future, light of each day There are no words that I could ever utter That could ever make up what I might have said It was likely you I hurt the most, in my clutter Not meaning to, you never laughed at tears I shed I probably made you mad But, You stood by me true And never could I ask For a better friend than you |

heres the other Best friends In the middle of the dance floor, she twirls and spins. Leaps up to the stage, twisting and movin’ Don’t want to let her go, she is there through thick and thin. Her happiness speeds along the crowd exploding onto faces. Dancing through the night, singing on the stage. Her voice crystal clear, vocals in the night, marking an empty page. Cheering me up when I turn my back on the world. Making me smile. Glued to the velvet chair afraid, pulling me up, to show my style. Glaring at anyone who might laugh, she makes living worthwhile. Turns an ordinary dance step into something beyond the naked eye. That’s why it near killed me when we had to say goodbye. Tore up my heart right then and there, I couldn’t help but cry. |
