Here am I There are you Waiting for forever In this garden for two your eyes how they sparkle as you brush away the hair from my glass pale blue eyes how your lips sing to me as if they wanted to just try try to kiss me once again purge this sweet sin upon my lips Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me..... |

Here am I There are you Waiting for forever In this garden for two Here you are There I might be Wrapped in dreams of you Eternally Could I ever tempt you to be? Here forever with me As we sing our tunes Clear away all our past glooms Could I ever bring you closer And closer still Till you become An indistinguishable part Of this human cell That is only me Only me No matter how small and humble It could be A garden for two That's all I care for All I could ever want to be But where to find such a place Out of time and space? If you have an answer, Pray tell Never leave me Tucked alone in some Faraway mysterious cell. ------------------- It's been quiet along time since I last wrote something. Your challenge has certainly woke up my muse. Thank you dearly for that. |

Here am I There are you Waiting for forever In this garden for two… So far away is where you stand Without thought to this mortal man You, a goddess who has no needs Who’ll never heed, to someone such as me… Though I might, one day, hold you to my breast in error Or even kiss those lips so red I shall not feel your fire within Nor see that smile, the smile you hold for him… Your love is for another That I do see, but dreaming of you Has become my necessity My need in life, my way of life… Yet I know that my selfish wish Will never earn your gift The gift of love for such as me Is so far from my very reach Lay me down and let me sleep Close these eyes from what they see Only when my eyes fall shut, shall I rest without a thought For in ones death, love will not scoff at men with grief… ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's a little different from anything i've ever written, and not quite what i wanted. my version Here am I There are you Waiting for forever In this garden for two Wondering where you could be: You promised to come one last time. But no sight of you do I see. Too much to hope, that you’d be mine. Sitting in a dainty white chair, lingering in misled prayers. Sipping a glass of icy lemonade, I can’t help but wonder who? Looking at my phone surprised not to see excuses from you. I guess I was wrong to want, desire, acknowledge something might be there Here am I, done praying Sadly finished waiting In this garden of two. For what will never be, for you. |
