And here's the challenge... Go write a poem, any poem...don't care about style, format, form, meter, rhyme, whatever... but your LAST word... has to be the FIRST word in your NEXT poem.  So, my last poem was a small senryu...and the last word used was "adrift". Hence, that will be the beginning of the NEXT poem. Now...do it!  And just leave the link to it here...  |

well... no link, but a quick write in itself  -------------- adrift is running away from me at a healthy rate of 3 miles per minute you just need to guess whereabouts will it be in an hour my guess is adrift will have drifted away farther by one-hon-and-80 and that in degrees being an about-turn (from the direction that you are headed in) is what I keep wishing that you would make and come back to me that is when adrift will have returned to zero -------------- .... so I guess the next one can start with zero meanwhile, do I get any points? |

well.... zero hour zero cents in my pocket and millions in the bank zero velocity is what I have, stuck in time and place ... there you go... 3 times zero starts now stew and ENJOY p.s. my brain seems to be in dynamic mode like a dynamo of a electric motor... and that could be irritating, for many |

Here goes, i've had fun keeping th first words relatively equal: Place your hand in mine, As we mimic the hay children, And their frilly skirts from la Redoute. As you watch, your corduroy trousers mud, And I know they watch us, a picture of Perfect siblings, swinging along the mud track. |

LOL...Suddie, my friend.... read my beginning post. These are supposed to be YOUR last word from YOUR poems....then taking the last word of your most current poem and ... heh ... doing it again! but I sure do appreciate that you can take a word and wrap it around your pen so very well! |
