I came across this phrase tonight... "tongues of flame licked at the walls" and, for some reason it just strikes me - I love that line! so, the challenge is for you to use this phrase in your poem. It can be of any theme, any length, any format. It could be a sonnet, senryu, free-verse, rhyme - anything! Label your poem with an original title with (Melissa Honeybee's challenge) beside it, and list the phrase at the top of your poem so that all will understand the challenge. Thank you - I'll be writing a poem of mine soon "Poetry is not an opinion expressed... |
