alrighty kids, the season is new.
and i think it's time for a few haikus.
In a haiku, there are syllables: seventeen
five on top and bottom, with seven in-between.
and yet we need a topic, one for everyone.
Maybe one 'bout love, or about love undone.
how about a haiku on fall?
or calendar girls? or maybe football?
i think these haikus need a one-word title,
then describe though metaphors when you write 'em.
but Ethan you say, this challenge makes my pen not quiver.
well here is the kicker for you peotic endeavor.
once you've picked the theme of your haiku,
that word (the title), in the verse, mustn't be used.
do not fret, dismay, or go on daunting.
just be creative; let the talent go out flaunting.
i do belive that's enough of my poetic ramble.
but fear not, i do not leave without example.

*squandered*
like the moon over
day, my genius and brawn are
wasted on these fools

Godd Luck everyone.
i await the answers to this challenge!!
