Wilt not thee find love’s heart at foot thy bed for mine awaits thee as life courses veins Can not thee feel the softest touch of head as dreams taketh into these arms, remains Thy feet, most beautiful, a cover to be warm Thy heart in beat I hold, my love within My words I give thy ears, to guard from harm Soul of this knight doth stand, thee wilt defend A cup of port I raise to thee in toast for love of thee wilt be mine to ye say In whispered promise not to be of boast in act of scene upon the stage wilt play Upon thy steed wilt ride thee through the night against the chill of dark, into low moon If not thee find in wait of strongest knight quiet my lady, follow this lyre’s soft tune ‘Pon bed of green most soft shalt we both lay to taste the wines of vintage chilled by snow In love of thee thy knight wilt thy tune play and battles fought wilt rage till death’s cruel blow [This message has been edited by Magnus (04-26-2002 07:03 PM).] |

Magnus darling boy this is such superb writing. Utterly utterly amazing writing it’s so full of beauty, you are an amazing writer, truly awesome. You write these Knight and Lady romances so well darling heart that I swear you must almost speak like this. Well, at any rate in your poetic voice you speak like this, utterly utterly wonderful. Such beautiful lines, as always, and this most particularly ‘Pon bed of green most soft shalt we both lay to taste the wines of vintage chilled by snow In love of thee thy knight wilt thy tune play and battles fought wilt rage till death’s cruel blow This is a perfect example of all your posts, absolutely divine I love it. YOU really do have an amazing ability to write of love so the reader understands completely. Thank you for this gem Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

Not sure how I missed this, but take the opportunities offered, I say. When you write of Camelot, the lady fair stands breathless Sir Barry. Sending in a straw hat, tipped in reverence. ThisDiamond |

Magnus I'm a stickler for old traditional! This is excellent.... "A cup of port I raise to thee in toast for love of thee wilt be mine to ye say In whispered promise not to be of boast in act of scene upon the stage wilt play Upon thy steed wilt ride thee through the night against the chill of dark, into low moon If not thee find in wait of strongest knight quiet my lady, follow this lyre’s soft tune ‘Pon bed of green most soft shalt we both lay to taste the wines of vintage chilled by snow In love of thee thy knight wilt thy tune play and battles fought wilt rage till death’s cruel blow" You're just a modern day Billy Shakespeare! Great work! |
