"Feel I know you for a while, when avant-guard lines created style", drawn in public, veils off faces etched in stone, time left no traces. Composed in private, shown on exhibit oral creases, subjects known to fidget; seams of pants, sutures of skulls fiber shreds settled on boat hulls. waistlines measured by the tailor special neckines for gallant sailors, "you doubt I know you for a while, ocean cruiser, years pass on the dial." lowcuts, highbrows, gents all around entertainment, surrounded by ocean sounds tips of icebergs, new sort of catasrophy stop short of recollecting, mental atrophy. grand staircases collapsed on bands of brass couples cavorted on upper decks, full of sass front stage held main productions for passenger shows secluded quarters held private functions a celebrity throws. "I am the spirit of the deep, and know you awhile you invaded my sleep as avant-guarde lines became style". [This message has been edited by ecrivan (04-23-2002 02:20 PM).] |
