THIS WAS TAKEN IN MY BACKYARD, THE BEAUTIFUL LIME GREEN TREE ON THE LEFT IS CALLED 'ROBINIA' AND THE ONE OVER THE GARDEN SEAT IS MY BIRCH TREE THAT I WRITE SO OFTEN ABOUT.IT REPRESENTS MY FATHER'S HOMELAND, SWEDEN WHERE THERE IS AN ABUNDANCE OF BIRCH TREES.

I MUST CONFESS THAT THIS WAS NOT TAKEN AT MY HOME BUT IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL I HAD TO INCLUDE IT.

* * * * *

The wind is unforgiving
As it blows outside my door
Was Summer really here?
Can't we have a little more?

How quickly seasons change
Each one an amazing sight
Now the leaves fall like confetti
In the early morning light

The grass is becoming greener
As more rain begins to fall
Rose petals adorn the pathway
And colored leaves litter the lawn

The birds stock up on feed
As Winter is drawing near
I see them in my gum tree
Upon my apple tree they lear

We'll miss swimming at the beach
And Summer's long hot days
But with the lovely Autumn mornings
Not in bed will I laze

Out in my garden you will find me
There'll be so much for me to do
As I prepare my beds for Winter
With cold mornings covered in dew

I'll peruse the scene before me
In the moments before I start
And in my mind's eye I'll envisage
My next lovely work of art

WOW!!! Oh my gosh, this is sooooooo lovely, sweet friend, and I know through the rustling winds in the birch trees, your fathers love and light will always grace you with springly laughter! (kiss on cheek) Your words always bring a smile to my face, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I'm still waiting for summer to decide to get here. I hope it warms up soon. Middle of May and I'm sitting here almost ready to turn oon the furnace again. Almost, not quite.

This one gets a soft smile from me. Again, the photos didn't work out -- they didn't display anything but a message sayin' the photos can't be accessed. But again, y' don't need 'em to paint yr pictures. Loved it.
