Sweet scented petal soft beauty which stands for love and happiness but marring its' abilities the thorns which rupture truthfullness. Love offers gifts to each of us but with it comes the bitter sting An unexpected stabbing thus reality, the rose thorns bring. [This message has been edited by catalinamoon (06-09-2002 04:16 PM).] |

Love offers gifs to each of us but with it comes the bitter sting An unexpected stabbing thus reality, the rose thorns bring. Why does this have to be so true? :-( I hope we can find some thornless roses one day. There's a peace inside us all |

I definately think that love can be a rough ride if two hearts are not matched...often times we choose to proceed even when the effort seems risky...and thus the pain...speaking from experience...James |

Tough love is all around. I must agree with what you have written. Cold hands means a warm heart |

So deep the touch of rose when skin does feel the thorn where in love's path is chose and hearts in tear are torn excellent write Sandra...so true is the hurt that comes with the beauty of love when all does not go well.. |

This is a lovely poem, Sandra...and so true. It seems like the most beautiful roses have the most thorns. ~ hugs full of roses Lyra |
