Tis just a glance
a flickering
a smile in gleam of eye
a sigh so soft
it’s often missed
unheard by passerby

What measure can I take
of words for this
attraction
this list will grow
will gain length
in poetic distraction

Tis not just one thing
one moment
that holds me to your side
but count them?
I cannot
for surely I have tried

It is the small
almost imperceptible hooks
that snag the heart
and capture the soul

Lady deVine, thank you for sharing, I enjoyed the read.  Peace!
