A Prayer of Renewal June 8th, 2002 Copyright 2002 Doug Pretorius in fields seeds of pain sprout for clouds of rain filling in the skies with magnetic dense disguise burning in the ocean to feed children's cries demonstrate your love by drowning them in lies it's no different now then it's ever going to be and how it always was is all the same disease so spare me of your temper and your impassioned speeches please admit you are no better then us down here on our knees we're begging for a rage to fill the ocean blue to make it flood its banks and start the earth anew |

Hi Doug ... A rather intense poem you have here ... The sense of hope in the last lines contrasts very aptly the dark imagery you have wrought throughout the entire piece ... A very interesting read ... [This message has been edited by Verve (06-09-2002 12:43 PM).] |

Doug It's good to see you here at Passions. I remember you from elsewhere. This is a very powerful intense poem but much in it needs to be written about....good work! |
