If I wire you the money- Will you catch a plane, And meet me next week, In Cheyenne? The circuit is different- My luck has all changed... I need you here with me To win. The days we were younger- Now lay far behind... I should have grown up I suppose. But I'm crowding fifty- One thing on my mind... To ride in the Pro rodeos. So please say you'll be there- To give it one chance... I'll ride if you're there In the stands. And after the short go- We'll go to the dance... For you're still my girl I'm your man. |
