Snooze on Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m at the library reading huge books all very quite scary one day, I saw, I was in the next story (Who’d have thought I’d gain so much glory) after reading I frowned and put the thing down I never knew my life was so boring --- Backwords Nothing would be queerer Than getting nearer to the mirror And telling it all of your woes It may not even listen And prolly if it’s this one It’ll say: “seot ym no gnippets ruoy” --- I wish roller coasters could fly For the price of admission I'd get what I'm wishin’ To reach the top of the sky Upon descent, to the majestic bird I’d have time for only one word B Y E E E E E . . . --- watered down If you eat sunflower seeds While taking a swim You’ll grow in your tummy A sunflower stem So cover your ears, keep your mouth shut (also you might think about covering your butt) what’s that you say now you can’t swim better you grow a sunflower stem? --- Sleepy Thoughts There was a bed in the other room that was always calling my name a lack of sleep I put to the blame I threw that bed out but before the man came someone had taken it without any shame Now I am sure it’s in the house of a dame cuz I can still hear it calling my name [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (06-08-2002 03:41 PM).] |

Walt you must be one of the poets here that's the most comfortable with his/her work. These are just great........ I'll not step on your toes But I'll read your poetry and prose! |
