Chances are that my pants will fit just as much too tight tomorrow as they did today. Chances are that if I am awake my body is going to hurt, so today I am hoping to be unlucky or asleep. Chances are if the night is not cut short I will over power the weary that keeps me awake. Chances are that I will, in my lifetime, have a day of smiles and peace. If asked my druthers, I will pick one of each, but chances are, with my present state of mind it won’t be today or tomorrow. Despite all of my attempts to bring the deceased back to life, chances are I won’t love my till death do you partner tomorrow either. Cancer statistics say that something like four out of five people you know will get it- so I am wondering if I...make even less the number of my acquaintances will it increase my chances to leave this hell? I know I know...glum to the bone...sigh...don't attempt to cheer me up, I am really ok, its just one of those days...in fact you can add your own chances are if you want...you know how they say misery loves company ....**tired smile**...  That's OK, I have a drunken dentist who pulls those stuck jellybeans out, thinking they are really rotten teeth. |

Reading this poem, I never dreamed I'd be giggling before I responded. *G* But how could I resist doses of jellybeans and a drunken dentist? LOL Now... you can just reside there in your grump cause heaven knows you're entitled... I'll even bring you cocoa and cookies so you can blame me for the tight pants... (even though we both know the truth is you spray them onto those gorgeous legs. *G*) But that doesn't mean I'm not going to tell you how much I love your writing! LOL Chances are that jellybeans won't send her muse to me Even for a visit She knows I'm greedy And she'd only get voice mail when she begged for its return. Chances are she sometimes forgets That the days which are her norm Would crush most spirits Into dust bunnies. Chances are there are better friends Toe could have found for me...
