I guess I've thrown
A million rocks
When I was young
I had more time
That I never needed
So I threw it away.

The spinning stone
Is a moment thrown
The distance tossed
Is the moment lost
When Toe's alone,
He's good at stones

He's good at so many things... including writing wonderful, thought-provoking poems. *S*

I think we've all tossed a few too many pebbles, sweets... for a while, we feel invincible. *S* Then reality intrudes, we see more years behind us than ahead... and have to deal with the fact that some of those ripples are doozies. *S*

Ooops... *G* I yammered so much I forgot to tell you how much I like this... or to volunteer to make Toe less alone! LOL

If you ever need any more rocks to skip..
Just holler my way...I keep a few in reserve.

Seems we all have done the chunkin' rocks
thing....

Toe darling boy, you have certainly written this exceedingly well, so you aren’t just good at tossing stones. This is very thought provoking and I love it utterly

You know I could never get a stone to skip over water, all the ever did was hit the water and sink into oblivion, much like my writing now come to think of it. This however won’t sink like cream it will rise to the top.

Well written darling boy, I love this I utterly utterly love it

Love and warm stuff

(sigh) I know this feeling, sweet friend, I too used to skid rocks all the time when I was a boy but was too naive to think of it this way, now it seems to have so much more depth that I would have ever thought! (big hugggssssss) This is a powerfully introspective piece, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Toerag, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

So true....the words of the immortal philospher, Mr.Toe

its amazing how much time we throw away when we're young.
