It’s hard to change our feelings, but time and moments come Which drag the tears from way within to make our sorrow run It’s hard to know tomorrow and the moments that might become If they you know this morning, might greet another sun We take for granted what we have, the moments that we share We take for granted health and love until it isn’t there Unless caught up in tragedy, those times do easy go The pain that’s screamed by others, so many do not know Mortals struck by ill or luck, by fortune or regret The bad times seem to linger on, the good times we forget I question life so often now, the fate of I or many But realise that its gift won’t last and say in it, not any As time it ages thoughts we have, more little things do count One simple smile and word hello, does on your soul amount We learn to treat as equal, the many all around We find that through some selflessness that joy of life is found And wish with every prayer, good luck to be with all For together we are born to earth, to meet our fate and call I relise more and more how prescious life is. This was written with the thought of a friend in hospital with a tumor on the brain, aged 26 What do tommorrows bring? Sincerely Rick |

Healing mantras and thoughts, that is what I am sending you and your friend. Your poem really touched my heart. May tomorrow bring him sunshine and healing. |

Rick, considering what type of tumor might be on the brain, the sun can certainly shine tomorrow. We just went through that in my family, and fortunately, a good surgeon and a good diagnosis did get our patient through. My prayers are with you and your friend for an operable tumor... Keep us posted. |

Dear Midnitesun, thanks for your reply and kind thoughts, I to do wish for the best. Dear Sunshine, there was an operation for four hours, the tumor must be too close to something in the brain, she was going to be sent home, but had three fits last night, so don't know what is going to happen. Thanks heaps for the reply. Sincerely Rick |

hi Rick, sorry to hear about your friend..enjoyed your thoughts...though i think it's hard to give up pretentious materialistic pursuits and live with the small things in life...but i am trying..hopefully i won't be so petty some day... strength to you and your friend... |

Hello Rick How very true that if you have love and good health then you are very rich. Too many of us take these things for granted and we sometimes need to remind ourselves how lucky we are. Your words always touch my soul and this was certainly no exception. My thoughts are with you and your friend. Take care......Sue Suetang |
