Kissed by the Same Sun Born of the same womb Onto the same stage Stretched on the same loom Etched on the same page Anointed with one oil Appointed the same deeds Sown of the same soil Grown of the same seeds Kissed by the same sun Wet by the same rain Onto the earth spun Each with a new name All born of one soul Under the same sky Darkening clouds toll End to the sweet sigh Different the choices Unequal the scale’s eye Thunderous voices Asking the word “Why” Born of the same womb Singing the same tune Death sends us all back Into the same tomb Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (06-04-2002 07:42 PM).] |

BRAVO!!! Oh Elizabeth, I too think this is a unique style for you, but this is wonderful and so very true, for we are all share the same joys and miracles of life and we all come and go from same points of origin! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Elizabeth This is a neat experiment different than your usual but excellent all the same. It's too true....from womb to tomb you got that right. What one does in between is the important thing.....Thanks! |

Perfect description of each individual. Like the old adage: You’re unique… Just like everybody else. Enjoyed the read. Melton |

I wonder how much grief could be avoided if we all remembered just how much we have in common. *S* I like this very much! *S* |
