When I step alone...I sense you there.. Beside me, each stride, each thought. Your shadow is my own, you are me. Touch me softly with a strand of hair Dreams carry me to your waiting kiss Your eyes glisten, the mist veils them I touch your hand, you tell me, again. Love found once, eternally do miss. From where do I come and then depart Stumbles on jagged rocks of life await Staggered gait of load burdens my life as words cherished are then torn apart Love me, let me into the soul of mind Take me, with words I seek to find. Hold me, treasure the softest of touch Know me, that I do...will give so much. |
