Damned and lost we are in mind as the truths we try to find Deep inside we look to see why we strive so hard to be Curse we may of the life we gave and the parts of us we never save Only to give without the return without a thought or not a concern Lost we are, til look inside deep into where we abide To search within of what we are and question out to furthest star Then we find we are okay it is the thoughts that led astray For we were made in a careful mold time we realize it was poured with gold Only we can make us sad only we can make us glad Forget the past of where we live and all the things that we did give The morning sun brings a brand new day take the time to begin a new way Smell the roses, sniff the breeze talk to the old ones, the young do tease Make a new life if the old one is bad forget the past if it makes you sad There is no way you change what is behind so search ahead and see what you find The world is full of love if you look as clean and flowing as the mountain brook Dead fire ashes blow in the wind please take the time to live again |
