the need aching
to express the divinity
strolling reluctantly
through a meadow
dreamlike with wishes
perching as butterflies
on every relaxing wave
of the breeze
which tantalizes
my eyes with colors array
of God’s love expressed… pure
as the rain drops
which tickle my face
now drizzle from heaven.
as the rainbow
which drapes the sky’s blue skin
this upside down necklace
accents all with it’s fruity luster
with your fingertips
you mellifluously lead me
aloft all this you share
tentacles of love
etching away
at my awakened heart
feelings elevated
by your lips’ whisper
through these clouds
of magnetism
with you as center
the cool dew
from heaven ceases
as beyond cumulus thoughts
we’ve ascended.
now embracing stars’ illuminations
the celestial phenomenon
of love’s questions.
pinnacled by grace
by our connection made whole
only the tacit left to waltz with
may I, have this dance?
