Listening to every heart

The Heart

The heart has reasons
which reason does not know
as in the way I look at you
and why I have this glow ~

nor does it explain away
this tingle that I feel
or why inner thoughts of you
are seemingly surreal ~

neither does it account
for every breath that quakes
that I might see tomorrow
as a lover's dream awakes.

The heart, oh, it has reason
which reason does not know
and I thank God for reasons
that slowly come…and go.

there are so many words to try and explain the emotion the heart can bring....very lovely Sunny one....

I would rather have one breath of his hair,
one kiss of his mouth,
one touch of his hand

your heart light is shining and rhyming divine in this gem of pen
many times I've thought of "revising my heart"

I remembering being one and the same ...
closer even than the heat and the flame.

There is certainly no need to revise your heart
This is a completely wonderful write that I shall keep forever and wear it out with re-reading.

thus is the glory of love, is it not:  that only the heart can tell what words cannot.
You said with great skill, which is undescribable, Sunshine!

ahhh yes... the glow... I believe you have answered one of my questions here, Sunshine.

I do not look for it any longer, as I don't believe it exists for me.

But, on your advice, I will wait for the pinch

Fabulous writing. I will keep a copy of it, if you do not mind.

Sunshine--

The heart is much wiser than the head!  And you have expressed a lot of wisdom here.

I agree with all of the above--
