sidewalk is an empty purse in a thrift store attic scent of old buildings along weathered lining footstep memories dust size pieces light poles some god's trees now wounded soldiers with one open eye and breasts punctured with nail arrows from weekend warriors that sell garage treasures to the blind addicts store front windows shadows with neon tattoos of women's shoes and nail plastics the residue of smoker's cough and auto exhaust in a toxic brown raincoat black cat with electric fur and gear grease from a fender well bed licks it's paw watches traffic signal colors turn from green to red does the homeless pose for the lady with onion breath accepts part of a bagel with a not hungry yawn paper man limps as he opens his castle john deere green and smoked oysters in a kitty bowl newspapers fresh sexed with ink and gore ratings olympic pictures are momma heirlooms sitting in front of bald man sex and penthouse ....... ©Dark |
