The Flash Of Green have you ever seen the flash of green at sunset the sun lowers to below the water unseen and there above it shines an emerald light a magical glow if the water catches the sun just right doesn’t happen very often and last just a moment out of time as long as I’ve been looking only once made it mine waiting I’ve seen dolphins and manatee playing in the splash but I still watch to see the jewel of the gulf showing off its emerald flash "The heart is the toughest part of the body, tenderness is in the hands." Sounds like a beautiful scene in reality, I've never seen it myself, but through your poem I got a wonderful glimse. |

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, ooohhhhhhh...I know this vision ever so well, and I LOVE IT!!! InFlorida, I have been blessed to see the waters shine turqoise to lime green in an instant as the sun goes up or down, it is breathtaking! (kiss on cheek) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! OneSlickLady~ I have seen it ... and you have poeticized it perfectly~ And along the breaking waves on Flagler Beach, the light rolls at night lighting up each wave in undulating neon~ It's an awesome sight ! Love this piece~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
