Listening to every heart

Silent Sounds

Soulfully she calls out to him, hear me
Like a spirit on the wind, nay Circe
Come hear the call, come, this the force compels
Nature is driven, thus this command swells

Hear me, on ghost winds her words to him fly
Hear me, his head tilts at sounds by and bye
Seek me, his thoughts once steady, now in flow
Seek me, heart racing back to long ago

Heart dashing, blood pounding, he pains once more
This, the loss of his love, forevermore
To hear in his heart, seek her ‘long the shore
Knowing he’ll not see her face, evermore

Shades of sound rush to his ear, hot tears cast
Hear me, seek me, loud silence from his past
and he cries, his heart’s pain is so, so vast
his spirit despairs, for the die that’s cast

Karilea

I loved the sound of this outloud...it is very lyrical, a heart song, sad yet filled with evermore.

Karilea...how wonderful for this to be my last read before sleep...
lovely, haunting, lyrical.

*I shall not even ask as to when you sleep...
if indeed you do!*

Love this one...into the library it goes!

An AWESOME poem, Karilea...

Shades of sound rush to his ear, hot tears cast
Hear me, seek me, loud silence from his past
and he cries, his heart’s pain is so, so vast
his spirit despairs, for the die that’s cast

painful and romantic, all at once...

~lots and lots of hugs~

The mood is set and developed well throughout the poem,
The repeating words
and similar rhymes (in the third and fourth Stanzas) are wonderful method,
Enjoyed the poem greatly.

Dear Sunshine, this is a lovely piece of writing, I saw an old man sitting quietly and alone in a beautiful park watching over the sea, daydreaming as the breeze of day blew, remembering with sadness as the wispers of a past love rode by on the breeze of a sad goodbye.

Loved it.

Sincerely Rick

"Hear me", the softest whisper flows
into the ears as a tear now shows

"Seek me", compels and captivates him
standing,  listening,  only the beat

of a love torn heart....

Beautiful write Karilea....very very
nice.

Yes, Mysteria...bittersweet, perhaps, but knowing the feel...
wouldn't miss that for the world...
especially when it can bring such good things...
