If but through chance was love to be
in want of once most tenderly
If but one time would kiss be placed
upon moist lips of lines when traced

Can love be born again anew
if twice in scorn of then askew
Where longing sigh brings the embrace
when tears of cry streak upon face

Soft of the morn in ray of light
beheld by eyes of gifted sight
Song of two hearts in melody
words of one tune in memory

Lost to a dream of loving grace
Left to begin this slumber race
Taken by hand in want of thee
If but one chance is love to be

Twins of morrow living apart
beating shallow from in the heart
Found in a meadow’s garden new
Lost in a shadow once of two

Magnus darling boy you lines have a way of wafting over my heart like a song that I remember but feel is new. The familiarity of trust but the freshness of unique, do I love this you know I utterly utterly do. There is within your writing something superior, something that makes it finer and better crafted that makes it incredibly special.

Truly this is exceptional

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

This is beautifull Barry. Love that last stanza

Twins of morrow living apart
beats of shallow from the heart
Found in a meadow’s garden new
Lost in a shadow once of two

Very relatable tonight, Barry.

to get it back to good

More than a poem
this sound of token
from a poet
softly spoken
