they come on in short bursts like a hiccuup exploding through a vein they come on like summer quick thunderstorms rain splatered windshield one... two... up to thirty drops stopped sun out they come on come out like a spider in a corner of a room look back to scream softly and he is gone escaped through a crack they come on in flicker lights porch lamps stranger stares salesman's pitch to housewife holding a milk bottle on some golden storybook afternoon [This message has been edited by leafseranade (05-22-2002 10:41 PM).] |

The thirty drops made me think of the thirty pieces of silver for some reason. I really loved this. And yr name rocks the Casbah. Leafy! She said burn ... together. |
