This poem, is for a friend of mine...I've been having some serious emotional problems, thats why i have all these reccent writtings: Dreams are smutherd Dreams are destroyed I was wrong Out of my mind I need some relief For I am being devoured By my own belief I need help desperately Whys it the one you love? That never can like you back? You think she does? But its all your damn mind Playing its awful tricks Just like all the other dicks Whys it have to be? Why not you and me? My beliefs are lies I thought i saw it Love in your eyes Was it only my reflection? I am confused and lost I dont know whats true I am jumbled and tossed I dont know if its me or you You know my love for you I dont expect anything back But is it you too? Or is it never to be? I'm sorry if I am wrong I'm sorry if I am right I'm sorry if my love is early I'm sorry if i over expect If it cant be If it wont be Then tell me please Will you be a freind? Love is wonderful Love is painful Love is dreadful Love, is it you? Love, is it me? Tell me please if it will ever be Dont lie please, for I'll only hurt more Tell me if you wont love me? I dont need to be hurt, by the one I adore Truth is beauty Lies are hateful Honestey is the key For the smile in me If I'm wrong, I promise not to cry If I'm wrong, please dont lie If you want this smile To last a while Tell the truth Love strikes hard And sometimes to fast Love stays and glows bright Love will never give up its fight Maybe I just need to back off Maybe youre not ready Either way, your always a friend Love last, until the very end Love you as someone i desire Love you as someone I admire But always love you, as a friend.... |

My beliefs are lies I thought i saw it Love in your eyes Was it only my reflection? Incredible verse! A lot to absorb here, many questions, doubts. All familiar. Some more uncomfortable than others. Well done. |

yes...I'm giving this to her tommarow, she knows I love her, i havnt told her, but she just knows, but I think Im confused, so I wrote this poem for ansewers. |

My beliefs are lies I thought I saw it Love in your eyes Was it only my reflection? Isnt it funny how simple words can speak a whole lifetime worth of meanings...my favorite verse as well...what a write, let the ink flow sweet one! For in much wisdom is much grief |
