Listening to every heart

[From the Archives, Open 1, with a tweak of revise]

The Mind - Alone

She often wondered what she might do
to find some quiet for her mind.
As words would smack her in the face
and thoughts would run to prose and rhyme.

Never sleeping, always keeping
solace within her soul,
her mind would wander, rambling on
while her lips, so quiet, compose.

She could be talking or simply walking
and her mind through limericks ferry.
In doldrums she might quiet be
while her mind was making merry.

In her dreams her mind would scheme
to turn a dream into flight.
Oh if she could murder her mind alone
and have simple peace for one night!

(smiles) Oh my gosh, it can be both haunting and wonderful at the same time to have that kind of insomnia when dreams always happen, sweet friend, I know this feeling ever so well yet the only dreas I want to murder are nightmares while I feel happy staying awake just a bit longer being enticed by romance! (big huggsssssss) I love this, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Karilea

I know this...except it does not disturb my night, but my day. Trust me, you want it to stay.

Thank you, Noah.  In Open #1, this has a big goose egg beside it...you just never know when they might hatch...

Martie, three years ago I thought I was nuts because the words would just not let me sleep.  Coming to Passions, sharing them as I have...now I sleep very well, and look forward to the nights they do disturb me...now that I know that there are so many others who share my same drive...thank you, m'dear...

Can't figure out why this would bring up a goose egg anywhere or anytime. It's a very well written piece.
Glad you sleep well now because I wouldn't want our sunshine to turn into rain!

Wonderful write here Karilea.  I know the feeling very well of words running around in the mind all night....
Even in Open 1, one can see what a beautiful writer and person you are.

I see a slightly different Karilea in open
1 from the highly poetically refined lady
of open 20....

I also see a woman who shares a common
problem with all/many of us....  YOU TOO???

My nights are peaceful,  my days are quite
the opposite....always singing rhyme or
words within my mind....sometimes....TOOOOO
Much....

Ethome, please note, there had to be a revise in order to keep everyone from saying "ewwwww...."  Thank you poet man...

DS - most assuredly, I do say more meaningful things when whispering then in any other form...thank you so much for reading...

Enchantress...thank you for being such a highly responsive poet...

Magnus, it just goes to show the growth, if you are sure it is what you want to do, and if you are willing to take critique, and allow yourself to grow...good things happen...thank you for noticing the difference.  I think I notice it too...

Sven, you snuck in.  You have been one of the kind poets who has always had a good word for me when I deserved one, and when I didn't, you were very quiet.  Yes, I noticed...and thank you for all of your many kindnesses...
