Steps In The Sand Waves calm, sounds from reefs Palms moving slightly, clouds afar Little boy walk to the edge, in grief Follows each step in the sand, hiding scar Dog comes by, finally a smile after days Feet sinking in wet sands, but he plays Happiness leaves again as the animal scatters He stares at the distance watching the showers Neither forward, no real want, he wonders Would it be better to laugh or to be in tears He sets another path, not searching for steps Perhaps his feet were not meant to print the sands Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

Hello Daniel Your words and images were so heartfelt and beautifully written. It's nice to see another Aussie here at PIP. Take care......Sue Suetang |

Nice imagery of a lonely beach stroll. Even with the brief companionship of the dog, I felt his loneliness. |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Daniel, this is so very sad, sweet friedn, my heart cries out to this boy and I know deep down he is meant to tread these sands and someday he will find all the love he deserves, for no one is meant to be lonely! (sigh) This is so heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Daniel, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
