One Foot In Heaven Lately unrecognizable has been her new name Walks in mere cloudiness along each new days path Sometimes she doesn't even realize all that gold beneath her She's too busy swarming in reality of what she doesn't have... She's beginning not to notice the fortunes placed there for her When before, her senses would find them without opening her eyes Can't distinguish between just a rough moment or if it will last forever So, she's drowning in the utmost of propounding earthly lies... Tablets of happiness consume the part of her too weak to move on They hang a vivid picture of sanity while swimming through her veins Gives her temporary hope when the world caves in all at once Her invisible umbrella to cover her from her own pouring rain... Lasting scars to the flesh for an instant fix to the heart Like fire to a brick it never really takes hold You just bear the pain until it slowly dies off Then back to real life and her bitter cold... It drips and flows from within somewhere inside her And, it gathers a lot of heartache along it's way out Red and blue there's no difference they both hurt the same Just her cruel reminder of what her world's all about... She has one foot in heaven and the other so close to the skies Didn't realize until now how close she was to the other side Can you save her from herself on your journey through life Cause she's not sure she's even ready to give up this fight...  (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Saunni, this is so very bittersweetly beautiful, sweet friend, my heart goes out to her and all that feel like this and I hope they can get themselves together and put their feet on the ground and dance with destinby and hope once more!
