As we sit across the table
Candle flickering there
I hear music
Music In the air

I see you speaking
SomehowI understand
But I hear music
Music in the air

My eyes relishing
The lines that define
The smile in your eyes
The tilt of your head
When pondering
What I've said

I'm laughing
But not sure at what
For all I hear is music
And anticipate your touch

Your words are always soothing after a long day. For that I thank you. And ah promise you, the time, date, and yr name are stamped on already, so it's extraneous information t' repeat.
