Poetic hearts in harmony,
Aligned on pages blue;
Sharing thoughts in symphony,
Submerged in words anew.
Innocent reality,
Oasis for the mind;
Nourished in totality,
Symbolically entwined.

Infinite camaraderie,
New friendships richly blessed,

Pledged in words of rhapsody,
Obtained through written quest.
Etched in life, this revelry,
Through poets, one and all,
Rest within tranquility,
Yield now … to Passions' call.

In two days, I'm off on a plane to visit Nan, and a host of wonderful poetic friends from Passions ... so if you don't see me for a bit ... I'll be trying to find time to pack, and then I'll be off travelling. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!

Right now ... I'm bouncing off the walls in excitement ...

Kit darling girl this was as usual for you utterly utterly wonderful. Do you know how utterly beautiful this poem is? The style is pure you, breathtakingly lovely and the execution is without doubt one of your finest ever.

I uuterly utterly love this, acrostics are always a favourite of mine and this is superb as all your poetry is. Have a wonderful poetic gathering darling girl, I shall be there in spirit if not in person. So if there’s a commotion going on, or a hint of chaos in the air it’s me.

YAY!!! OH MY GOSH, THIS IS SOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE IT!!! I love acrostics, and this one expresses what Passions is all about so wonderfully! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, I hope you have a wonderful time with Nan and some of your other Passions friends, I too would love to meet you someday! If you want to do an acrostic to spell out Passions in Poetry just make it spell out Kit McCallum....they are one in the same

Thanks so much for the kind words everyone. I'm sharing a computer here at Nan's. What a wonderful group of ladies... we're having a blast. We're off to Provincetown today, then Nantucket tomorrow, then Martha's Vineyard somewhere along the line.

Nan's a marvelous hostess ... what a sweetheart.

Aha! I wondered if your photo had been updated since the bash! What a wonderful way to find out who it is I admire so much, and such a change from the other photo! I can see why everyone was tickled pink to meet you [of course, the lobster turned red!]

A fantastic acrostic, Kit...
I missed most of the month of April because of being really sick from radiation treatments, so I missed this terrific poem, and I'm glad it came back around again.

I saw the photos and the poems that Nan posted in the poem Hoot n'anni (sp) but was too sick to reply to anything...

It looked like everyone was having such a wonderful time.

If I am healthy and not undergoing any treatments, I'm going to the meeting in September, in Florida...will you be there?

and....I like your new photo, better than your old one...I think you are very pretty.
