She gave me dull candy ache, the beautiful disappointment of living. Alone, with flowers, and crisp edges. A trellis dripping white rose patter. She gave me her dull eb of thorns and placed them slowly through my hands. It was a pact of sweat and bones. We never forgot to give them sun. Her soil crumbles in my hands. Her stones are sweet and close and warm. She left her name among the sky. I left her tracings in my sigh. She said burn ... together. |

I'm glad y' both enjoyed. I just got lucky with this one -- I swear it fell into my computer by itself. She said burn ... together. -TON [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (05-19-2002 05:45 PM).] |
