steel walls empty parking lot your heart's an empty parking lot gray and worn all over cold, and you charge admission to get in. when cars do enter they're decrepit and brown with smashed out windows cigarette burns and cappuccino stains on the seats. stray birds land and pick at spilled french fries. your life is a series of reinforced steel walls once i found a hole to peer through until you patched that up, too. you're a barbed wire playground surrounded by fencing but worth the pain of climbing in. your heart is a maze how will i ever find the exit? so many passages it's complicated. you've built your own castle you are your own queen and if i were to intrude get past the guards (sure, it'd be hard but anything for you) would you charge me a fee? how much would it cost to re-learn your favorite color? re-trace forgotten steps? any amount, my love. i have a bank account. |

"you're a barbed wire playground surrounded by fencing but worth the pain of climbing in." I think I'd avoid that fence. Good write, through some painful imagery. Welcome to Passions. |

I really enjoyed the humor and sardonic nature mixed with belief of this post. Now, please don't send me a computer virus! She said burn ... together. |
