Think of the Grass

Lust stays sway above the grass
Impressed by just a moments pass
And filigree dances spree
Amongst the shadows of debris

And breath on breath hovers sweet
Above the dissipating heat
Taken up on spindles wrap
To package up a day of map

A day of quest a day of crest
A day of zest that heaved my chest
A day that bubbled up and curled
The leavings of an afterworld

And thus a page of stay is left
Taken from the day in theft
And placed above an alters store
A mirror to eternals door

To live upon the fern and sea
And turn my hearts forever key.

What a wonderful piece Sy ... I loved the lines above particularly, with their internal rhymes ... I just had to read that out loud. Well done!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Think of the grass, count the leaves
afterwards just allow me breathe
for pages turn, as pages do
and I would walk the quest with you...

JM,
Good morning love from both of me. It is raining outside and a day to stay inside. But I will be passing your way in thought. Perhaps to say a brief hello or share some raspbery jello. I'll hold your hand in fairy land and speak to you of time and sand. And then we'll fly into the sky on the broomstick of why. Of cource Randy will be scratching his head but what do dragons know?  Winkiewinkie Stinky.

Wow!!! I love the swaying feel of these words, sweet friend, it felt like I was standing in a southern meadow in the springtime caressed by the zephyr! (big hugggssssss) This is lovely, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I hold a high regard for the majority of your poems, but, this one is beyond exquisite!  It flows like silk and has such zing and depth to it. You must dream in metaphor and meter?!  Sy, this poem is just too cool, I really enjoyed it. This is begging to be a keeper

Take care,
Melissa~
