Fluttering through each lily pad Disturbing every flower Rippling in the tidal pool Hour after hour Cooling off communal heat Ruffling every leaf Gentle breeze dearly sweet Sudden shower brief Peepers sing the night tune Chirpers greet the dawn Rustling through tender to Another heart to fawn Copyright Kkh 4/10/02 |

YAY!!! May the frogs and birds come out and sing their symphonies of spring together and fill all our hearts with their permeating beauty! (kiss on cheek) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Spring took its time getting to the midwest, but now that it is here, I couldn't be happier. This is a great poem. Dawn |

Ah.... used to have a place across the road from us that came alive with such a malestrom of cheepers, peepers, croakers, squeekers and other wonderful sounds everytime it rained or even got more humid than normal. We'd go sit out front and just listen. Especially coupled with the thunder and the rain. Now it's a house. It's not so heavenly here anymore. And the field next door is gone too...we're just a neighbood now...alas. Thanks for the memory. jimmy |
