Soul searching, remnants remain- Cornered in heartfelt disdain… Encompassing, please pass me by- Won’t shed another tear to cry… Shining photo’s, yours to keep- Haunt me even while I sleep… Epitome of lust’s encounter- Begrudge me now, helpless flounder… Steaming remembrance, yours with her, Aching memories beg to stir… Past is past, or so they say, Cherished- though hidden away… Triumph will come- I will it so, That you will never ever know… I came across hot breath in box- Sucking life, sweet albatross… Forgive me love, for curiosity, Seems to shackle the best of me… Knowingly I mean much more- Than photographs behind closed doors… Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...
