Dreams Reunite I listened for the sound of you shadow-stepping, coming near. But in the darkness all I heard was sounds of heartbeat, mine so clear. Pounding out those rhythms strong, wishing I could touch a kiss. I opened up a window for a breeze of you, in reminisce. It caught me as I settled in and spun me 'round to dizzy me. I felt encircled by your arms the hold of you, in want to be. I watched for you to come to me eye-thoughts penetrating night. Delusioned I, for it was you who dared to cross these lips' invite. Once again, as always seems I fondle warmly in your know. In the silence of the hour, these hazel eyes on blues bestow. They pledge to you, their gift of love, their bounty driven by nights embrace. Those dreams unfold and press their will subsuming all 'til morns replace. I felt the breeze come over me and sway my thoughts to softly light upon the darkness, shadow's touch, on wings, I fly, dreams reunite.
