On a morning in May You lay their in a morning mist Unaware I was watching you ponder As you took in the breezes in sighs Your eyes marveled with the scene upon you In an instant you froze into me And melted into my eyes You sat up and smiled right threw me Gravitating me to a new level of awareness Setting up my new universe For you cast the spell of a lifetime In a ready mix combination that gelled right there In conversation we melted flowing into each other In the next two weeks We found the blueprint of our coexistence One morning a shower caught us by surprise In a drenching we embraced in strength For in ecstasy we used our moisture To cement the bond In whirlwinds of ecstatic pleasures We created our foundation In the years that followed our friendship grew As we kept awakening the sun upon our special place Until that day in May we united on rings of prayers Every year we keep open that day to renew our vows For in stormy passion we add a new level to our foundation As we find something to do in those rooms all year Are things perfect between us Not as long as there is a doghouse For we have developed cracks That needs that special reinforcement In the heat of repeating our vows For we bond to keep each other For the bandages of our relationship Only bind us further In a ready mix of adhesion Especially in the heat of a Jacuzzi Email me at [email protected] D.Lester Young (05/16/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=5012 |
